This Privacy Policy explains how MD5 Labs, Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with SoaRank.com and related GEO optimization services.
North America notice. This policy applies to our business website and services serving users in the United States and Canada. It includes disclosures addressing applicable U.S. state privacy laws, California privacy requirements, Canadian privacy principles, children’s privacy rules, email marketing rules, and vendor, AI, cookie, and security practices.
1. Who we are
SoaRank is a Generative Engine Optimization, or GEO, service available at https://www.soarank.com. SoaRank is operated by MD5 Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation. In this Privacy Policy, “SoaRank,” “MD5 Labs,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean MD5 Labs, Inc.
SoaRank helps businesses understand, improve, and monitor how their brands, products, and services appear in AI-powered search, answer engines, and generative systems. Our product may include brand diagnostics, GEO reports, generated content, generated websites or landing pages, crawler analytics, referral beacons, account dashboards, billing, product communications, and AI-assisted features such as in-product assistants.
2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to our website, account registration and sign-in, dashboards, diagnostic tools, reports, generated brand pages, AI features, billing flows, customer support, product emails, and related online services that link to this policy.
This policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that we do not control, including services offered directly by Google, Stripe, AI model providers, hosting providers, or other third parties. Their privacy policies govern their own processing.
If a business customer uses SoaRank on behalf of its own organization, website visitors, employees, clients, or end users, we may process certain personal information as a service provider or processor for that customer. The customer is responsible for providing any required notice, obtaining any required consent, and having a lawful basis for its own processing.
3. Personal information we collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you use SoaRank.
3.1 Account and sign-in information
We may collect your name, display name, business email address, organization name, role, language preference, login credentials or authentication tokens, account identifiers, session information, plan status, trial dates, and related account settings. If you use Google sign-in, we may receive your Google account identifier, email address, name, and profile photo URL through the openid email profile scopes.
3.2 Brand, business, and project content
We may collect information that you or your organization provide to configure SoaRank, including brand name, website URL, business category, competitors, products, services, target audience, brand voice, content materials, marketing claims, keyword or prompt sets, contact details you choose to add, uploaded files, generated drafts, published pages, and other information you submit, import, or ask us to analyze.
3.3 Diagnostics, GEO reports, and AI visibility data
When you run a diagnosis, scan, or report, we may collect the website URL you submit, site content that our systems fetch or infer from that URL, AI-search prompts, result snapshots, rankings, scores, competitor names, recommendations, report files, metadata, timestamps, and usage history.
3.4 AI assistant and generated content data
If you use AI features, we may collect prompts, chat messages, instructions, uploaded context, generated replies, draft copy, generated image prompts, editing requests, feedback, and related metadata. These records may be associated with your account or workspace so that we can provide the service, improve reliability, maintain history, and support troubleshooting.
3.5 Billing and transaction information
We may collect plan, order, subscription, invoice, billing email, tax status, transaction status, and payment-related metadata. Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers. Payment processors handle payment data under their own policies and applicable payment security standards.
3.6 Website, device, log, and usage information
We may automatically collect IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, features used, buttons clicked, approximate location inferred from IP address, date and time of access, request path, user agent, trace identifiers, error logs, security logs, and other technical information needed to operate, secure, debug, measure, and improve the service.
3.7 Crawler analytics, referral beacons, and customer-site data
If you connect crawler analytics, referral beacons, tags, pixels, scripts, plugins, or similar tools to a customer website, we may receive information such as request path, referrer, user agent, IP address, bot name, timestamp, source AI product, and event metadata. Depending on configuration, this information may relate to visitors of a customer website. Customers are responsible for telling their visitors about this processing and honoring applicable opt-out or consent requirements.
3.8 Communications and support
If you contact us, subscribe to updates, respond to a survey, request a demo, join a waitlist, or interact with sales or support, we may collect your contact details, company information, message content, attachments, preferences, and records of the communication.
3.9 Information from third parties
We may receive information from authentication providers, payment processors, AI model providers, infrastructure providers, analytics or security vendors, publicly available websites, business databases, and our customers or partners where permitted by law.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, health data, biometric data, financial account credentials, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, or children’s data. Please do not submit sensitive information unless we specifically request it for a lawful and necessary purpose.
5. How we use personal information
- Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve SoaRank.
- Create and manage accounts, sessions, workspaces, plans, and language preferences.
- Run brand scans, GEO diagnoses, AI-visibility checks, crawler analytics, and reports.
- Generate, edit, store, publish, or take down customer-requested content, brand sites, pages, drafts, articles, recommendations, and AI outputs.
- Operate AI features, including prompts, context retrieval, recommendations, generated copy, generated images, and assistant responses.
- Process payments, subscriptions, invoices, refunds, taxes, trials, and plan changes.
- Send transactional messages, service notices, security alerts, product updates, marketing communications where permitted, and responses to inquiries.
- Monitor performance, debug errors, prevent fraud, spam, scraping, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, resolve disputes, and protect rights, safety, and property.
- Analyze aggregated or de-identified information for business, product, security, and research purposes.
6. AI features and model-provider processing
SoaRank uses machine-learning and generative-AI systems to provide GEO analysis, content drafting, recommendations, image generation, and assistant features. Inputs sent to AI systems may include brand content, website text, prompts, chat messages, competitors, diagnostic context, and related metadata. Outputs may be probabilistic and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
We do not use customer content or Google user data to train our own foundation models. We also contract with AI model providers and vendors to process data to provide the service. Their handling of inputs may depend on the provider, model, account type, region, and contractual terms. Where available, we configure providers to limit training use of customer data and to apply enterprise or API data-protection settings.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit to SoaRank does not violate confidentiality duties, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, employment obligations, platform terms, or applicable law.
7. Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we use Google user data only to authenticate you, create or access your SoaRank account, display account information, maintain security, and provide the service. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train models.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
8. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
We use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, scripts, logs, and similar technologies to operate the service, remember preferences, maintain sessions, measure product usage, detect abuse, and support customer-configured crawler or referral analytics. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You can set your browser to block or delete cookies and local storage. Some features may not work properly if required storage is disabled. Where a jurisdiction requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will provide an appropriate notice or consent mechanism.
9. How we disclose personal information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers and processors. Hosting, storage, database, security, logging, analytics, email, support, payment, tax, AI model, content generation, and infrastructure vendors that help us run SoaRank.
- Authentication and payment partners. Google for account sign-in and Stripe or similar processors for checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and related payment workflows.
- AI model providers. Providers that process prompts, context, or outputs to deliver AI-powered product features.
- Search and indexing services. If you enable publishing or indexing features, we may submit URLs or metadata to services such as IndexNow or search engines.
- Workspace users and customer-designated recipients. Information may be visible to other users in your organization or workspace according to permissions and product settings.
- Professional advisors. Lawyers, auditors, accountants, insurers, and other advisors where reasonably necessary.
- Authorities and legal parties. Courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, and integrity.
- Business transaction parties. Buyers, investors, lenders, or successors in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly used in U.S. state privacy laws. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any required opt-out mechanism.
10. Legal bases where required
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we process personal information under one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and marketing a business service; your consent; compliance with legal obligations; and protection of rights, safety, and security.
For Canadian users, we collect, use, and disclose personal information with consent where required, which may be express or implied depending on the sensitivity of the information, your relationship with us, and applicable law. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
11. U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence and our legal obligations, including under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA and other U.S. state privacy laws, you may have rights to:
- Know or confirm whether we process your personal information.
- Access the personal information we maintain about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to exceptions.
- Receive a portable copy of certain personal information.
- Opt out of sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or targeted advertising where applicable.
- Opt out of certain profiling or automated decisions where applicable.
- Limit use or disclosure of sensitive personal information where applicable.
- Appeal a decision we make regarding your privacy request where applicable.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at CPRA@soarank.com. Please include the email associated with your account and the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information needed to verify your request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of the account holder.
During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected and disclosed the categories of personal information listed in this policy for the business purposes described above. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
12. California “Shine the Light” and Do Not Track
California residents may request information about certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, if applicable, by contacting us. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because no uniform technical standard has been adopted. We will evaluate legally recognized universal opt-out signals where required by applicable law.
13. Canada-specific disclosures
If you are located in Canada, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where legally available, and ask questions about our privacy practices by contacting us. We will retain, use, and disclose personal information only as permitted by applicable Canadian privacy laws, including federal and provincial requirements where applicable.
If anti-spam law applies, we send commercial electronic messages with consent or as otherwise permitted by law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Transactional and service-related messages may still be sent where necessary.
If Quebec privacy law applies, we will provide additional transparency and governance measures where required, including disclosures about transfers outside Quebec, automated processing, and privacy incident handling.
14. International transfers
MD5 Labs, Inc. is located in Delaware, United States, and we may process and store information in the United States, Canada, and other countries where we or our vendors operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those where you live. When required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers.
15. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and operate our business. Retention periods may vary by data type, account status, legal requirement, and product configuration.

16. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, such as HTTPS, access controls, session security, secure cookies, hashing or tokenization where appropriate, rate limits, logging, monitoring, vendor controls, and checks designed to reduce server-side request forgery when we fetch URLs you provide. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
17. Your choices
- Account information. You may update certain account and workspace information through the product or by contacting us.
- Marketing emails. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails. We may still send transactional, security, legal, and service messages.
- Cookies and storage. You may control cookies and local storage through your browser, subject to product functionality limits.
- Google account access. You may manage third-party account connections through Google settings and SoaRank account settings where available.
- Customer-site tools. Customers can remove or disable SoaRank beacons, plugins, or scripts from their own websites.
18. Customer websites and processor terms
If you use SoaRank-generated websites, crawler analytics, referral beacons, plugins, or scripts on a website you control, you are responsible for your own privacy notices, cookie notices, consent flows, opt-out mechanisms, legal bases, and agreements with your visitors, customers, employees, or other end users. In that context, SoaRank may act as your service provider or processor for certain data that you instruct us to process.
Enterprise customers may request a data processing addendum or similar privacy terms by contacting us. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and a signed data processing agreement, the signed agreement controls for the covered processing.
19. Children’s privacy
SoaRank is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information of minors under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
20. De-identified and aggregated information
We may create de-identified, anonymized, or aggregated information from personal information and use it for analytics, benchmarking, research, security, product development, and business purposes. We will not attempt to re-identify information that we maintain as de-identified except as permitted by law, such as to test our de-identification processes.
21. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates the current version. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the website, product, email, or another appropriate method. Your continued use of SoaRank after the updated policy becomes effective means the updated policy applies to your use of the service, subject to applicable law.

6. AI 功能和模型提供商处理
SoaRank 使用机器学习和生成式 AI 系统提供 GEO 分析、内容起草、建议、图片生成和助手功能。输入可能包括品牌内容、网站文字、提示词、聊天消息、竞品、诊断上下文和元数据；输出具有概率性，可能存在错误、遗漏或过时信息。

2. 本ポリシーの対象
本ポリシーは、当社サイト、登録とサインイン、ダッシュボード、診断ツール、レポート、生成ブランドページ、AI 機能、課金、カスタマーサポート、プロダクトメールおよび本ポリシーへリンクする関連オンラインサービスに適用されます。
当社が管理しない第三者のウェブサイト、アプリケーション、サービス（Google、Stripe、AI モデル提供者、ホスティング提供者等が直接提供するサービスを含む）には適用されず、それぞれのプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。

3.3 診断、GEO レポートおよび AI 可視性データ
診断、スキャンまたはレポートを実行すると、提出 URL、当社システムが取得または推論するサイト内容、AI 検索プロンプト、結果スナップショット、順位、スコア、競合名、推奨、レポートファイル、メタデータ、日時および利用履歴を収集することがあります。
3.4 AI アシスタントと生成コンテンツのデータ
AI 機能利用時には、プロンプト、チャットメッセージ、指示、アップロードされたコンテキスト、生成回答、下書き、画像生成プロンプト、編集依頼、フィードバックおよびメタデータを収集することがあります。サービス提供、履歴保持、信頼性向上およびトラブルシューティングのため、これらをアカウントまたはワークスペースに関連付けることがあります。
3.5 請求と取引情報
プラン、注文、サブスクリプション、請求書、請求用メール、税務状況、取引状況および支払い関連メタデータを収集することがあります。支払いは Stripe その他の決済処理者が処理し、当社が完全なカード番号を意図的に保存することはありません。

3.8 通信とサポート
お問い合わせ、更新情報の購読、アンケート回答、デモ依頼、待機リスト参加、営業またはサポートとのやり取りの際、連絡先、会社情報、メッセージ、添付、設定および通信記録を収集することがあります。
3.9 第三者からの情報

6. AI 機能とモデル提供者による処理
SoaRank は GEO 分析、下書き、推奨、画像生成、アシスタントのために機械学習と生成 AI を利用します。ブランド内容、サイト本文、プロンプト、チャット、競合、診断コンテキストおよびメタデータが AI に送られることがあり、出力は確率的で誤り、欠落または古い情報を含むことがあります。
当社は顧客コンテンツまたは Google ユーザーデータを自社基盤モデルの訓練に使用しません。提供者・ベンダーはサービス提供のために処理し、その取扱いは提供者、モデル、アカウント種別、地域および契約条件により異なります。利用可能な場合、顧客データの訓練利用を制限する設定や企業・API 向け保護設定を用います。提出内容が守秘義務、知的財産、プライバシー、雇用上の義務、プラットフォーム規約または法令に違反しないことはお客様の責任です。
7. Google ユーザーデータ
Google ユーザーデータは、認証、アカウントの作成・アクセス、アカウント情報の表示、安全維持およびサービス提供のためだけに利用します。Google ユーザーデータを販売、広告利用、モデル訓練に利用しません。
Google API から取得した情報の利用と移転は、Limited Use 要件を含む Google API Services User Data Policy に従います。
8. Cookie、ローカルストレージおよび類似技術
サービス運用、設定の記憶、セッション維持、利用測定、悪用検知、顧客設定の分析支援のため、cookie、localStorage、sessionStorage、ピクセル、スクリプト、ログ等を使用します。クロスコンテキスト行動広告のための第三者広告 cookie は現在利用しません。

11. 米国州法上のプライバシー権
